Peter Brett Associates are an established multidisciplinary consultancy with over 600 staff worldwide in offices across the UK, Europe, Africa and Asia. PBA International is a fully owned subsidiary and has been operating in the Czech Republic since 1998 under the name of PBA International Prague, spol. s r.o.

Our philosophy of providing personal, trusted advice allows us to build and nurture long-term relationships with developers, architects, operators and associated professionals and we pride ourselves on our long-term involvement with many of our clients.

Hotels

Hotel Národní, Prague - The design of all building services for a new 180-key 5*+ hotel in Prague city centre designed as a new structure including the refurbishment of an old baroque palace. Design responsibilities included concept, planning permit and the building permit designs.

Hilton Hotel, Prague - The design of all building services in all project stages during a general hotel upgrade which included the Sky bar restaurant, modification of the entrance lobby and the new conference centre.

St. Thomas Rocco Forte Hotel, Prague - This project involved the design of all heating, cooling and air-conditioning systems for a 5*+ hotel in Prague city centre. Documentation was prepared for all project design stages including site supervision during the construction period. The hotel includes 81 luxury guest rooms, 20 apartments, a kitchen, a restaurant, fitness facilities, etc.

Metropol Hotel, Prague - The design of all heating, cooling and air-conditioning systems for a 4* hotel located in Prague city centre. The hotel accommodates 64 guestrooms, a restaurant, a kitchen, conference rooms, etc. The project included building permit and detailed construction design including supervision during the construction process.

SKI Hotel, Nové Město na Moravě - The design of all heating, cooling and air-conditioning systems for the refurbishment and extension of the SKI hotel within the Vysočina skiing centre. The project included the design of a 32-room extension with a swimming pool and complete refurbishment of the entrance lobby and boiler room. Design responsibilities included the preparation of building permit and tender documentation.

Intercontinental Hotel, Prague - Acting as the hotel owner's technical consultants, PBAI were responsible for the refurbishment and extension design and, most recently, the assessment of post-flooding damage, design and supervision of the remedial works carried out.
(2001-2004, Intercontinental Prague)
Savoy Hotel, Prague - Responsibilities included the building permit design of the ventilation system for the hotel kitchen and fire detection and cooling system of the existing building, including the conversion of the existing adjacent building into an extension of the hotel.
(2007, UBM Bohemia)
Jalta Hotel, Prague - Responsibilities included the concept and building permit design for adjustments to the existing MEP services as part of the new internal courtyard extension to the old listed hotel building. The design also included improvements to the existing building services. All designed works were carried out without disruption to normal hotel operation.
(2008, IB Architects)
Marriott Hotel, Hamburg - Responsibilities included the design and supervision of the complete replacement of all heating and cooling installations, including evaluation of tender bids and dealing with prospective contractors. The project also included design of all mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations for the new hotel kitchen.
