Peter Brett Associates are an established multidisciplinary consultancy with over 600 staff worldwide in offices across the UK, Europe, Africa and Asia. PBA International is a fully owned subsidiary and has been operating in the Czech Republic since 1998 under the name of PBA International Prague, spol. s r.o.

Our philosophy of providing personal, trusted advice allows us to build and nurture long-term relationships with developers, architects, operators and associated professionals and we pride ourselves on our long-term involvement with many of our clients.

Administrative buildings and office fit-outs

Toyota Motor Czech, Prague - Responsibilities included the complete design of all MEP installations (heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical) for a new regional office and training centre of Toyota/Lexus. Design documentation was provided for the planning permit, building permit and tender stages of the project. The design also included relocation of the existing on site services such as gas, drainage and notably a ø1000mm water supply utility.

Meteor D, Prague - This project involved the design of all MEP installations for a new 5,500sqm office building in Prague. Design documentation was prepared for all stages, i.e. planning, building permit, tender and detailed construction designs.

Centrum Opatov I, Prague - The design of heating, cooling and air-conditioning systems for a new office building in Prague. Design documentation was prepared for all stages of the project including detailed construction documentation and fit-outs for individual tenants.
(2005 - 2008, Metrostav a.s., Sekyra Group, Omicron-K)
Belarie Park Modøany, Prague - PBAI were appointed to prepare building permit and tender documentation for the design of heating, cooling and air-conditioning systems for two office buildings in Prague.
(2006 - 2008, Èeské nemovitosti a.s., Omicron-K)
Sun Microsystems, Prague - PBAI were appointed to carry out the design of new mechanical and electrical systems within the building in connection with substantial changes to the office layout and usage, which included installation of large Sun specialist computer labs housing an extensive amount of IT technologies in controlled environments. The appointment included participation in the tender process and site supervision during the construction phase. The construction works were carried out whilst maintaining full operation of the offices and IT technology.

Exxon-Mobil fit-out, Prague - PBAI were appointed to carry out an inspection of shell & core premises of the Flora Palace in Prague, which was followed by the preparation of a detailed design of the MEP installations and equipment for 10,000 sqm of office space to specific standards of the multinational client. PBAI Prague also provided site monitoring and technical supervision during implementation of the project on site.
(2003-2005, Exxon-Mobil)
ABN AMRO Bank, Prague - PBAI were appointed to prepare tender and construction documentation of the MEP systems for the new offices of the Dutch bank ABN AMRO. The project included detailed design of the M&E systems for the server and dealing room. The new offices were established in an existing building, coordination with the existing technical systems in the building formed a significant part of the design works.

Prague Gate, Prague - PBAI were appointed as executive engineers, to oversee, co-ordinate and supervise the design and build contract for a new 18,000sqm building accommodating offices and a hotel.

Pfizer headquarters, Prague - PBAI were appointed to carry out a detailed design assessment and site supervision of the mechanical and electrical systems installation which included: regular inspections of all M&E works, witnessing of all tests, checking work for compliance with the Contract Documents and the Client's requirements, reviewing of certificates submitted by the building contractor, etc. for a new office building in Prague.
(2003-2004, Aukett Fitzroy Robinson)
HSBC bank branches, Prague and Bratislava - PBAI were appointed to produce the detailed construction design documentation of electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling and air-conditioning systems for several new fit-outs in Prague and Bratislava. The service also included the assessment of a new shell & core premises in terms of their suitability for conversion into a bank branch and designer's supervision during the construction process.
(2006-2008, White Young Green & Aukett Fitzroy Robinson)
Wenceslas Square 19, Prague - PBAI were appointed as M&E designers for the complete refurbishment of a 100- year old listed office building in Prague in a premium location on the main city square. Work included the complete re-design of the M&E systems including connections to public service utilities to bring the building up to the current standards and preparation of the M&E building permit and tender documentation.
